Prepares experienced BLS Providers to teach AHA BLS courses.

In‑person instructor training

Practice teaching and instructor mentoring
Final monitoring and feedback
Requirement: Completion of the AHA BLS Instructor Essentials online module (purchased separately from AHA) and current AHA BLS Provider certification.
Heartsaver Instructor Course (Initial)
Price: $280 per instructor
For those interested in teaching AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED courses to workplaces and the community.
Includes:
Heartsaver course administration and policies
How to teach adult learning principles and hands‑on skills
Practice presenting Heartsaver content
Monitoring and evaluation as a new instructor
Requirement: Completion of the AHA Heartsaver Instructor Essentials online module (purchased separately from AHA) and current Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED certification (or equivalent).
